This Kid- SERIOUSLY!!

So I have learned one thing from having more than 1 child... just because they are cute does not mean they are innocent! Adarius never did the crap that Tavian does. I grabbed my camera AFTER I established that the red stuff all over him was not blood but indeed a red marker in which he colored his hands, shirt, face, and wall while I "thought" he was so sweetley and quietly playing in his toy room. This little boy keeps me on my toes. But I do have to say he makes me laugh everyday and keeps my patients in check . Love you Taye.
With all of this crazy behavior we have tried to start disciplining this little guy. Here we told him he needed to go to time-out. For some reason he felt like his nose needed to be in the corner (there he goes again making me laugh) we don't know where he got that idea? Anyways I grabbed the camera because it was so cute. It's just so hard to punish him because he knows just what to do to make my heart melt (just look at his little lip)

NO NO NO- we did not get a new dog but dang they are cute. Kim came over with her cute new puppies and Adarius just loved it. I thought this was such cute picture and I was really happy to see that he wasn't scared.

Christmas 08'

This year for Christmas my mom and Elan's dad and step-mom came to our house. It was such a fun day. Santa luckily made it to our house because mom and dad were up to 3:00 am finishing the last bit of wrapping. (that's what we get waiting till the last minute) With a wake up call around 8:00 from the kids- Adarius claiming he had forgot all about santa coming we headed downstairs to open presents. Elan was over-joyed with his new wii game! Adarius got just what he wanted a marshmallow gun and a big candy cane along with a few other gifts. Tavian got a new bike, and some building blocks and more. I think everyone had such a great relaxing day ! It was so nice to have Elan's family and my mom to celebrate this great day!

We learned 1 lesson the hard way 2 years ago when we forgot to get Pettis something for Christmas. That morning he raced up and headed for the tree smelling each of the gifts looking for his. Elan and I looked at each other "we forgot" all day pettis was so sad. He went right back upstairs all day and wouldn't talk to us. So this year we made sure that he had something-and sure enough he found it right away.
